Dean Henzlik, CSA is a Certified Senior Advisorâ and is a member, Society of Certified Senior Advisorsâ
Who are CSA’s and what do they do?
CSA’s are individuals who have completed the CSA education, passed the CSA exam, signed the CSA Code of Professional Responsibility (http://www.society-csa.com/docs/csa_code.pdf) and completed all other course requirements, thereby earning the CSA Designation.
Most CSA’s have expertise in a professional descipline; for example, they are insurance advisors, financial planners, attorneys, accountants, health care professionals or clergy. After earning the CSA designation, CSA’s continue to be identified with, and compensated for, their professional services in their respective disciplines.
As a result of their specialized education, CSA’s are able to better:
• Understand seniors from a more complete and comprehensive perspective – the health, social and financial issues that affect seniors’ quality of life
• Communicate and relate with seniors
• Recognize seniors’ needs and issues
• Guide seniors and their families to information and organizations that can assist them in meeting their needs
DISCLOSURE: Certified Senior Advisors (CSA) have supplemented their individual professional licenses, credentials and education with knowledge about aging and working with seniors. Know what those licenses, credentials, and education signify. The CSA designation alone does not imply expertise in financial, health or social matters.
